I've had just about every burger on this menu and they're all so good! Best burgers in Oslo. The fries are ok, and better when served with Parmesan parsley drizzle. Make sure to check out their burger of the month. It's always seasonal and very original. The place gets pretty packed so it's always a good idea to have a reservation to avoid a wait. Excellent burger and fries, priced well for Oslo. Seated quickly even though they were busy.

Definitely recommend. Came during lunch and ordered the chocolate brownie milkshake, the ramen burger, the umami burger and the truffle fries. Everything tasted good! My favorite was the milkshake but u wish it was bigger. If I come back, I would try one of their many beers.

Good burgers and not the worst prices to be Norway! The day I was stopping by it was barely any waiting time either, and the service was really good! Amazing burgers! Tried the Cricket, and was skeptical about cream cheese on a burger The restaurant is beautiful, cocktail and beer selection is great, and the staff was very friendly. Well, well, well.. I had heard rumours about this place before I finally got to eat here. The rep was good, but I was sceptical, because the vegetarian option was not properly described, it seemingly was a new creation every day, depending on the chef.

I was not expecting much, but to my delight, quite soon, a beautiful creation was presented to me by a proud chief. The burger consisted of a patio made with soy, yellow beets and chick peas, and was topped with sea grass, wasabi mayonnaise and a crispy rice sheet. A very bold and exciting taste. The truffle flavoured chips were really good, and my boyfriend enjoyed his umami burger.

Service was quick and friendly, and the place is trying for a cool laid back denim sort of feel. I liked it! I think this might be my favourite burger bar in Oslo so far.

Many of the other burger bars in Oslo have a bit of a fast food, or feel too much like a chain. This one has charm, and is a bit more upmarket without being pretentious.

Had the Boss Burger which was very tasty with it's mushrooms, and my partner had the Tom Yam Thai inspired burger. Added fries with parmesan and parsley, and chilli aioli which had a nice kick. There wasn't any seating available so we were sat at the bar, which actually felt better because the place has a pretty cool atmosphere about it. Definitely coming back. Again, the burger could be so much more improved if the quality of the bun wasn't as low, they seem to favour these almost McDonalds style sweet burger buns in Oslo, which really reduce the quality and taste of the burger and taste a bit cheap.

The interior of this place is trendy and cool might be the best interior for in Oslo This is a popular place, no doubt about it. The first time I tried to eat here it was full end the second time I got a table but it was rather full then also. But that doesn't affect in a negative way at all, quite the opposite. I like this place and the interior design is great for a burger restaurant.

It's rustic and a cross over between a barn and the industrial look at the interior and I really like it a lot. The only burger restaurant that comes close to this interior design is probably The Barn in Gothenburg. But enough about the looks, how about the food. I had The Boss Burger with honey- and pepper glazed bacon, fried mushrooms and onions , chipotle mayo and jarlsberg cheese.

A real good burger in almost perfect, in fact its so close to be perfect but it's not totally there even if wish that it was it isn't but it's as close as it get to a perfect score. The fries is world class and among the best I ever tasted. I warmly recommend this place and in Oslo. I ate at Kverneriet on a Tuesday in June. As they only opened their doors about a month ago, and have recently got rave reviews, we were not surprised to find a queue for tables.

We waited for about 20 minutes, and the waiters seemed to be quite efficient in securing a rapid turnover. Both of the two waiters that tended to our table were very nice, professional and attentive - on opening a bottle of prosecco for us we were celenrating ; , one of the waiters managed to spill a small piece of cork in the glass, but he promptly went to fetch another, and came back with a full glass.

We chose the most popular burgers, the Boss and the Umami, along with fries, truffle fries, aioli and chili mayo. The burgers had enough different components to be interesting, but yet not so much that they could not be eaten the proper way that is - with your hands, not using cutlery.

The meat was grilled and succulent, and the flavours were very well combined. We were served ketchup, mustard and tarragon mayo on the side, so that each could adjust the amount of sauce to taste I like a lot of sauce. If I had to criticise the burgers at all, I would say that I would prefer a slightly thicker patty that was a bit less well done.

I also like fresh veg on my burger which my burger did not have , but they have a variety with lettuce and tomato on the menu, so I could have chosrn that one. The fries, however, are beyond any criticism. They were perfectly crisp and fatty, well salted, sufficiently thick-cut, and served with your selection of sauce which for us was aioli and chili mayo.

The truffle fries had a subtle, but sufficient taste of truffle, and were sprinkled with fresh parsley. The chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, candied walnuts and raspberry mousse definitely stole the show with its decadent intense chololatey flavour.

The deconstructed berry crumble with lemon curd was good, but there was no taste of the advertised cardamom in the crumble, and it was simply not as exciting as the chocolate cake.

We left feeling extremely full, but very happy and satisfied with our meal. I'm happy that Majorstuen has finally got its own "hip burger joint", and hope that Kverneriet stays for a long time! Third time at this place and I still haven't been able to get a table. It's a Friday afternoon and payday have just been for many people so it is understandable that the place is packed. But this time I at least got a seat at the bar so that I have a chance to enjoy the food fresh and I can finally give a proper opinion about the interior and the waiters.

I will be updating this rewiev while I am sitting here so my subjects will jump around a bit and I hope that you still can follow my thoughts. The place is loud, I wouldn't recommend this as a place for a date, although maybe if you got a seat at the balcony since it looks a bit more peaceful up there. The music is high to be overheard the bussle of the people who in turn talks louder to be heard over the other people and the music.

The bartender is friendly but much of what she say are not heard because of the noice level. The food is still as great as before and having it fresh and warm is amazing. There is no longer a doubt in my mind that this is the best burger in Oslo. They should invest in some new knifes With a burger you need to be able to cut through several layers, not press a knife trough and hope for the best.

Music choice is good, upbeat almost but not quite club music. Best fries in Oslo! Barbecue dip and Burgler dips for the fries are alright, but the Blue Cheese dip is off the hook! I have tried The Boss beef, honey glazed bacon, cheese and Umami Burger parmesan crisp, shiitake, tomatoes. The beef is cooked more towards medium than medium rare, but it's still okay. The Boss gets a 3. The Umami's combination of all things flavorful and that crispy slice of parmesan just works. However, points deducted for a weak bun game.

They substitute the traditional soft buns with a thicker, drier cut to prevent soggy buns, but ended up being a little too dry. With the right bun, Umami Burger would be a 5.

Those fries tho!!! That's the thing that separates Kverneriet from the others. If you are looking for a good burger in Oslo, look no furthrr. On a recent visit to Oslo, my daughter decided this was the place to take mom and dad for dinner. We started iff with chicken wings, chilly cheese and onion rings.

All well prepared - the onion rings were perfect. For mains we all had to - of course - have burgers. The selected feasts were: Unami, Burger of the month, and Mexican Jorge with truffle fries. The winner for us was the Jorge. Very tasty! Service was excellent. The Swedish waiter knew exactly when to provide service and when to butt out. The location is excellent.

Get a window table and enjoy your food while watching the stressed locals rush by. I absolutely loved this place! The interiors, the service, everything. I was just going to play it safe but then I decided to be a little adventurous and order a burger called Cricket and I'm so glad I did!

I was feeling skeptical about cream cheese when ordering but it was amazing!!! I was totally blown away that and the Parmesan and parsley fries were really tasty! I'll be back here for sure! One of Oslo's best burgers! You can also find great selection of beer here. It's usually pretty busy so definitely book in advance. The truffle fries is a must with your burger!

Keep in mind it is pretty expensive but it is Norway after all. Tasty and yummy food! And since we've never been there before - we got a really good service from the waiter. Went here for a gravøl with colleagues last night and had to eat quick bc our reservation time was almost up. Ordered an umami burger and had no problem wolfing it down in 10 minutes. It's basically a direct copy of the Umami Burger chain's signature burger but it's actually done better here. Color me impressed. I'll be back when I have a burger craving and more time to savor this one.

Fries and fries and fries. The best thing about this place once you overlook the hipster-ish vibe. I've tried the original, Parmesan and the truffle fries which are all amazing.

The burgers are good too but I tried the veggie burger which was meh. Since we know, not all veggie patties are made equal. This one was made with chick peas? Which was dry and not very exciting. Crazy burgerjoint!

Nice workers, food and space! It's pretty hipster-ish, but not too strange. A lot of people here as well! I went here with two good friends, we drank wine and beer -- ate burgers and fries. We had a great time, and totally we're coming back!

The wine was tasty and lovable to a middle high ranged price. The food costs normal, but sadly you have to pay extra for fries. A fiend bought a milkshake with ben and jerry's cookie dough. Recommending this place -- highly recommended!
