Maten hos Olivia er nydelig og det føltes helt trygt å ta med Sevastianos hit.

En veldig hyggelig servitør informerte oss om hvordan pizzaen lages og hvordan det håndteres med tanke på kjøkkenrutiner. Olivia har flere restauranter rundt i byen og de har en helt perfekt atmosfære.

De har ett stort utvalg på menyen, hyggelige servitører og en deilig avslappet stemning. At de i tillegg kan lage nesten alle pizzaene glutenfrie og at de er nøye på kjøkkenrutiner gjør at det åpner seg en helt ny verden for oss som tidligere har vært skeptiske til å prøve. Vi fikk prøve en nydelig pizza som heter Al carpaccio med mozzarella, parmesan, tynne skiver rå indrefilet, ruccola pinjekjerner og sitron.

The vitello tonato was great but could use a little more sauce. I always like the option of pizza with white sauce and the mozzarella tasting option is good for 2 or more people.

Tiramisu as a desert is quite authentic. I especially like the atmosphere with the gallery above and the fire places inside. Service was ok, could maybe be a little more attentive and smile more but overall it was a great dinner.

The place is nice and cosy. It's a bit noisy inside, but you could also seat outside. The atmosphere in the evening is great!

Most of the waiters are nice and polite. But some of them are a bit slow. The food tastes great and the portions are quite big. And the menu is rich too! Overall the place is great and is worth to check out!

I had previously been to Olivia at Tjulvholmen and wasn't a huge fan. Honestly, I vowed to never go back not that it was that bad, just that eating out is pricy in Oslo and I want to ensure I'm going to enjoy myself at a place.

Well, I went back. But this time I went to the location on Hegdehaugsveien. It was summer outside and the weather was beautiful. Of course, they had a gigantic patio with packed seating. I was here with a work function, so we had reservations and didn't have to wait it was a Thursday evening.

The atmosphere was kind of strange. It was seriously all females. And everyone was dressed up like they were going to a fashion show or big event. I felt bad, but didn't inform anyone that they were just at a pretentious restaurant and not the Grammys. The food came. I ordered a glass of rose and had a simple pizza.

The pizza was just okay. I asked to have it extremely spicy so they gave me some oil to put on it. I thought this actually enhanced the taste quite a bit and was satisfied. The rose was good as well. My biggest problem with this place is the pretentiousness of it. It tries to be cooler than it is. And apparently the people of Oslo females fall for it. Also, don't try to have a party there for a coworker and bring a cake. Gosh forbid they allow a cake in there that isn't theirs because we weren't busy spending thousands of kroner or anything.

Because all the hundreds of females on the patio would be curious of the cake we were eating and want to order their own piece I'm currently rolling my eyes. I hope to not end up back here. But, my fate at this place tends to be in the hands of others. So hopefully someone will eventually get the hint : If you're a person who likes this type of environment, this place will win you over.

But if you like a more down-to-earth place with a solid identity, steer clear. This place is a happening joint. Which was probably good since it turned out to be the smoking area. We got seated inside and man was it noisy. Looks like lot of big groups show up here.

Food is straight up Italian food and pizza. They made a kids size cheese pizza which we didn't see on the menu - so that was nice. The pizza I got was good old margerita - it was a nice thin crust pizza with fresh basil and a good tomato sauce.

We also had a pasta carbonara which was also prepared well. I would say the service was a tad bit slow may be partly because of the crowd.
