Padthai there is excellent and dining area is nice. But during low season the other resorts nearby were all closed so we couldn't walk down there for some variety in food and drink. So I recommend this but only when it's not low season. Even though it was low season we got very lucky with the weather. If you want a place where you can be mostly to yourself, this is the place. Cooking is good can very much recommend to pre-order the black pepper crab and staff is always helpful.

Provided a welcome rest to our hectic travelling schedule. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful beautiful place, lovely pool and good restaurant, lovely massage facilities and friendly staff who tried hard to puzzle out the English and who provided great service in the staff car and longtail boat when needed the dirt track into the centre of island from the resort was very rutted, and muddy with the thunderstorms so our desire to use motorbikes was not possible.

It was an oasis of beauty and calm. The room is comfortable and very clean, a bit quirky, but is dark as all the walls are dark wood and lighting is dim - as in an undeveloped island. It was peaceful until a noisy bunch from Thailand turned up in the villa behind. The villas are nicely separated, you have space around you and beautiful gardens. Simple balconies.

The biggest drawback was the awful steps throughout the resort - man made concrete uneven slanted and different height steps with big stones set in them which made it very difficult for my father and for me to use. Pretty but not for people who have difficulty going up and down steps.

However, it was the best place we saw on the island and the island is utterly magical in its quiet simplicity. We used the ferry to get there - ring the resort so they can organise the longtail boat to meet the ferry out at sea, and we went back by longtail to Laem Kruat pier and taxi to the airport - again the resort can organise.

Hard to do Laem Kruat without the resorts help. Will we go back? Like a shot!! Thanks guys- you were wonderful!!! We stayed for 2 night and enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. It had a lot of steps up to our bungalow at the top of the hill so be aware of that. The bungalow was really big and beautiful with great views overlooking the ocean. The bed was really hard! Food was good and staff was very friendly. Great place for a nice break from the tourists!!

Koh Jum resort was great for people who want to get away from everything and just relax! The beach was beautiful, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was also great. I am a vegetarian who does NOT eat fish and they were able to still make me yummy thai dishes. They resort next door served better drinks though. Eiendommer i Thailand.
